- Monitor and supervise all Naval Land Operations and Marine Operations.
- Formulate/ plans strategies to achieve optimum result from Naval Land Deployments and Marine Deployments.
- Coordinate Naval Land Operations and Marine Operations with other services where necessary.
- Plan and advice on procurement of equipment/ weapons and other combat stores required for Naval Land Deployments and for the security of establishments.
- Monitor and advise the relevant AA’s on the security of respective Land Deployments/ establishments through DGO.
- Coordinate security/ escorts for VIPs/ VVIPs and for Flag Rank Officers where necessary.
- Coordinate all activities relevant to UN Peace Keeping Missions and training of members participating for UN missions.
- Coordinate and monitor administration and training matters related to Marine Battalion.
- Prepare appointment of Infantry officers/ Marine officers.
- Allocate Infantry sailors for special duties.
- Monitor EOD activities and draft EOD qualified Infantry sailors for respective Naval Commands.
- Allocate duties and responsibilities to Director Naval Infantry, Director Marine, Deputy Director Naval Infantry, Senior Staff Officers and Staff officers.
- Provide recommendations for submissions forwarded by Infantry sailors and advice SSO (NPM) to preparing of draft of Infantry sailors.Achievements
