After enrolling at Kotelawala Defence Academy in 1987, Lcdr. S.P. Jayawardana (Rtd) SLN served for 22 years in the Sri Lanka Navy. He holds a Diploma in sales and marketing, MBA in administration and logistics management, and a Bachelor’s degree with honors and is a
committed athlete, executive partner, logistician and consultant. During his naval career, he served as the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Navy Aquatic Committee, a member of the Navy Practical pistol shooting squad, and a member of the squash team. Following his retirement from the Sri Lanka Navy, he held the following positions as cross functional executive partner:
• Director of Procurement for Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Digital Economy’s Information & Communication Technology Agency (ICTA)                       (current position)
