Mothilal Jayathilake, also known as “Coach MJ,” is an experienced strength and conditioning coach, educator, and sports administrator with a diverse background in multiple athletic disciplines and coaching roles.

CrossFit Coaching
Over nine years of experience as a CrossFit coach.
Specializes in CrossFit Kids and Masters coaching.
Held roles as head coach and affiliate owner at multiple CrossFit locations,including Colombo CrossFit (Sri Lanka) and CrossFit Gold Pro (India).
Only certified CrossFit Kids Coach and Educator for ages 3–11 in Sri Lanka.

Rugby Coaching
35+ years of rugby coaching and strength & conditioning experience.
Coached Sri Lanka’s national and defense forces rugby teams, achieving 75 major trophies.
o Served as World Rugby Strength & Conditioning Educator and Talent Optimization Program participant.

Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting
25+ years of experience, producing international medalists in both disciplines.
Certified as a national and international referee and coach in weightlifting and powerlifting.
Represented Sri Lanka in four sports: weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding, and strength building.
